The drop that runs down in the infinite blue is not the same that runs down in your deep blues.

That one is sweet.

Yours is salty.

Sweet because from the calm it ascended.

Salty because of vanity it blossomed.

That one is cold.

Yours is warm.

Cold because it can’t feel.

Warm because you had to feel.

The drop that runs down in the infinite blue is the same that runs down in your deep blues.

That one is sweet. And cold.

And yours was sweet. And cold.

Sweet for being calm. Cold for not feeling.

A sweet that vanity has salted. Cold that passion has warmed.

That one was salty. And warm.

Yours is salty. And warm.

Salty that the calm has sweetened. Warm that passion has chilled.

Salty for being vain. Warm for feeling.

The drop that runs down from the infinite blue also runs down in your deep blues.

Washing.

Both washing.
